The Club at Savannah Harbour
The Club at Savannah Harbor offers unparalleled views of historic downtown Savannah while it gently winds its way through tidal wetlands. Our 22,000 square foot clubhouse features an award winning golf shop, full service locker rooms, formal, private, and informal dining rooms and a private boardroom for meetings. Fine dining, social activities, and The Heavenly Spa by Westin are just a few of the delights that await guests of The Club at Savannah Harbor.
Approaching this rebrand, I knew the club needed a refreshed identity that still honored its history. I chose to preserve the iconic Old Harbour Light, an important symbol for both Savannah and the club, while simplifying the logo to make it more memorable and scalable. The current mark doesn’t communicate that it’s a golf course or where it’s located, so I leaned into the lantern motif and made the golf connection unmistakable.
During the process, I incorporated an anchor to reflect the Savannah Harbour location. This allowed me to integrate golf clubs into the anchor’s ends, which unexpectedly created a compelling piece of negative space—two figures facing each other. Building on that discovery, I added two golf caps and gave the golf ball a more intentional place within the design.
The Club at Savannah Harbor is the only coastal Georgia destination where championship golf, vibrant social life, and modern wellness come together against the backdrop of historic Savannah—creating a community defined by connection, prestige, and belonging.
I also refined the color palette to a classic dark green, which elevates the brand and gives it a sense of tradition and sophistication. Finally, placing the logo within a shield shape gives it a timeless quality and makes it easier to scale and apply across various touchpoints.
