THE POLO BEAR SPREADS
The Polo Bear editorial spreads were created as part of an assignment in my editorial design course, where we were tasked with selecting an article that inspired us and completely redesigning its layout and visual narrative. I chose to reimagine a feature on Ralph Lauren’s iconic Polo Bear—a beloved symbol of timeless style, nostalgia, and preppy sophistication.
As a longtime admirer of the Ralph Lauren brand, I was drawn to the opportunity to reinterpret the Bear’s rich history through a refined and modern editorial lens. My goal was to capture the charm and elegance that define Ralph Lauren while creating a clean, contemporary design that enhances readability and visual engagement.
I focused on thoughtful typography, structured grid systems, and high-quality imagery to bring the story to life. Each spread was crafted to balance luxury with playfulness, reflecting both the heritage of the Polo Bear and the broader aesthetic language of the brand. This project allowed me to explore brand storytelling, elevate editorial hierarchy, and create a polished magazine experience that feels worthy of the Ralph Lauren world.
