BETTY CROCKER ADVERTISMENT
The objective of this project was to reimagine an ordinary, everyday product in a completely fresh and unexpected way. This assignment encouraged pushing creative boundaries by challenging traditional advertising norms and exploring how unconventional thinking can reshape a viewer’s perception. The focus was on leveraging humor, surprise, and visual irony to create a concept that not only captures attention instantly but also invites the audience to reconsider a familiar product through an entirely new lens.
For this project, I reimagined Betty Crocker sprinkles by pairing them with an unexpected and humorous counterpart: toothpaste. By adding vibrant sprinkles to a product typically associated with cleanliness and sterility, I created a striking visual juxtaposition designed to capture immediate attention. The concept centers on the idea of bringing delight to everyday routines, reinforced by the playful tagline, “Everything’s Better with Sprinkles.”
The design embraces bright, joyful colors and whimsical typography to amplify the sense of fun and intentional absurdity. At the same time, the layout and styling mimic the structure and polish of real consumer marketing, allowing the parody to feel both convincing and memorable.
